Top priority on safety
With over 40,000 missions each year, over 47 years’ flying experience and a fleet of over 50 helicopters, DRF Luftrettung is one of Europe’s largest and most-experienced air rescue organisations. Its in-house technical facility in its Operation Center at the Karlsruhe/Baden-Baden airport keeps DRF Luftrettung’s aircraft maintained for their missions, ensures their airworthiness and drives innovation in development operations.
Highly professional training and professional development
Our in-house EASA Part-147 training organisation is the centrepiece of our technical training. It offers a portfolio of type ratings, helicopter courses and individual learning programmes. It not only trains our own technicians, but also has a wide range of services on offer for external customers. We are happy to prepare you a tailor-made offer that considers your special desires.
Over 20 years’ experience – direct practical relevance
DRF Luftrettung uses its own teaching staff who have worked in its EASA Part-145 maintenance organisation for over 20 years. Consequently, our instructors possess extensive knowledge about each helicopter type and engine. Our training takes place directly at our Operation Center, which means that you can benefit from outstanding practical relevance.
