Top priority on safety

With over 40,000 missions each year, over 47 years’ flying experience and a fleet of over 50 helicopters, DRF Luftrettung is one of Europe’s largest and most-experienced air rescue organisations. Its in-house technical facility in its Operation Center at the Karlsruhe/Baden-Baden airport keeps DRF Luftrettung’s aircraft maintained for their missions, ensures their airworthiness and drives innovation in development operations.

Highly professional training and professional development

Our in-house EASA Part-147 training organisation is the centrepiece of our technical training. It offers a portfolio of type ratings, helicopter courses and individual learning programmes. It not only trains our own technicians, but also has a wide range of services on offer for external customers. We are happy to prepare you a tailor-made offer that considers your special desires.

Over 20 years’ experience – direct practical relevance

DRF Luftrettung uses its own teaching staff who have worked in its EASA Part-145 maintenance organisation for over 20 years.
